Jessie J

Jessica Ellen Cornish is an English artist and songwriter, who goes by the name Jessie J. She is known for her unique music style, which mixes soul vocals with pop, electropop, and hip-hop, Jessie garnered much fame early on. In addition to her many honors, she's also been nominated for the 2011 "Critics Choice Brit Awards" and for the BBC's Sound of 2011". Her career started at the age of 11 as Andrew Lloyd Webber cast her in his musical Whistle Down the Wind. She was in 2002 when she appeared as a part of"The Last Sleepers," the "National Youth Musical Theater" production of "The The Late Sleepers." The album she released her debut "Who You Are" was made available in February, 2011. Her name became a household name that year. It immediately became a hit. In the first week the album was sold out to 105,000 people in the UK and 34,000 copies in the US. The album debuted as second in the UK Albums Chart and number 11 on US Billboard 200.
