Her parents are Jim O'Grady who is a financial advisor and Jan O'Grady. Her parents raised her in Wheaton (Illinois) and she graduated in 1981 from Wheaton's North High School. Before moving into Los Angeles, she appeared in several commercials. Career O'Grady started her career as the model of Montgomery Ward, and well performing commercials in a variety of ways.
