Nadia Elena Comaneci

It was at the Montreal Olympic Games 1976 that she had one of the most unforgettable moments in sports history - - the first ever perfect 10 on the bars that were asymmetrical. In addition, Comaneci also scored six perfect 10s, making her, at fourteen years young, the youngest Olympic medalist across all categories. Nadia Comaneci was able to attract international attention and assist in helping Romania get its place on the world map. In achieving an unachievable result her sporting legend became a legendary figure and promoted gymnastics across the globe. Additionally, it altered people's perspective of female athletes. The reason for this was her impact during the Olympics in the same way that both move toe-on (toes on) as well as the release movement are named after her. These two moves have been regarded, till today, as tough. She also performed well at World Championships, European Championships, and Olympics. Her performance has made her famous, and she is one of the best gymnasts across the world. After her departure to the US the 'Queen of Olympics began modeling and promoting sports equipment.
