Angela Kaufman

Angela Kaufman is an author and speaker. She is a Certified Intuitive Consultant, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Activist as well as an Astrologer. She is a certified psychic Medium, and Reiki practitioner, and an Ordained Minister. While in Italy Kauffman made her reputation for her portrait painting as well as historical paintings. Her election in Rome's Accademia Di San Luca in 1765, is a sign of appreciation for her work. Angelica Kauffman stayed in England only for 15 years but had a great impact. She was one of only two women to be founders of the Royal Academy. The artist Angelica Kauffman died on November 5th 1807 aged sixty-six. Kauffman's British connections were made after the family relocated to Rome at the beginning of January 1763. Following a couple of months, her family relocated to Naples. She continued painting portraits as well as studying English. Kauffman took classes in Old Masters there and her initial painting was shipped to London for an exhibition in the public domain.
