Anya Volz is a New York City-based comic originally born in Vermont. Her work has been praised by people across America for her comedy, which they describe as funny yet not too preachy. Half English and a quarter Spanish they are the daughters of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Their father is Argentine from Scottish and English descendance. The mother of her is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's former marriage. Her family lived at home in Buenos Aires from the time she was just six until they relocated in Victoria, London. According to Taylor-Joy, this removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to learn English with the intention of moving back to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed to Northlands to Hill House. Her next school was Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in productions. She left high school when she was 16 in order to pursue an acting career. Taylor-Joy was a child actress that knew she was going to become one. She realized her dream after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a position as a model.
