According to Taylor-Joy, this removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to learn English with the intention of moving back to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed to Northlands to Hill House. Her next school was Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in productions. She left high school when she was 16 in order to pursue an acting career. Taylor-Joy was a child actress that knew she was going to become one. She realized her dream after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a position as a model.
