LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) was an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The player is referred to by the name of King James and is considered to be one of the greatest basketball players of all time. James has taken home four NBA championships four NBA MVP awards and four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has the world record of the most number of points scored in the post-season, second best all-time score, and the 7th most career assists. James is a member of 18 NBA All-Stars and 18 All-NBA Teams and five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. James was the third player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of the games were in consecutive order from the year 2011 until 2018. James was chosen to join the 75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022 he became first NBA player to ever score more than 10,000 career points. James was a basketball player in St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio. The national media celebrated James as an NBA star. In preparation for his professional career, it was the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the number one overall pick in the NBA draft of 2003. Named the 2004 NBA Rookie of Year he soon established himself as one of the league's premier players, winning his NBA MVP award in 2009 and 2010. James, who was unable to be crowned the champion in Cleveland, in the year 2010, quit as a free-agent and joined the Miami Heat. This was revealed in The Decision. It is one of the most controversial decisions made by a free agent in sports the history of sports.
