Bella Poarch's birth Filipino parents welcomed her in the Philippines on the 9th of February in 1997. Her grandmother lived in the slums until she was three years old, when she was adopted. The family she adopted is by a Filipino adoptive mother as well as a white American soldier. She claims that she and her adopted brother were neglected by their adoptive family members from the time she was a child until her entry into the military. Her family traveled across the country to San Francisco for a few months to live with her aunt before moving to Texas when she was thirteen due the need of her father to undergo bypass surgery. She says the physical violence subsided after a short time, but she was still forced to deal with the psychological abuse her father inflicted on her. At the age of aged 18, she enlisted in the United States Navy. Poarch was the first to join TikTok in the month of April, 2020 which quickly gained traction. The site grew to over 40 million followers within just eight months. She posted a number of videos. However, her biggest moment was her music video to Millie B's popular song Soph Aspin Send. A zoomed-in clip of her rhythmically lip-syncing the song and leaping in time to it became a viral clip that has since become TikTok's most popular video. After joining TikTok Poarch created her own YouTube account, as well as a Twitter one in order to boost the fame of her. Poarch attained her height of fame in December 2020. Two big Esports professional clubs were reported to be intrigued by her. FaZe Clan, 100 Thieves are both interested to have her as a freelance content creator for their brands.
